Checking the status of your recruitment agency is a good practice for applying abroad. For it will lessen your risk of being victimized by an illegal recruiter. 

How to Check the status of your Recruitment Agency?

You can check the status of a specific recruitment agency by Visiting Philippine Overseas Employment Administration's website at http://www.poea.gov.ph/ then look for the Online Services Section on their website.  Below that click on the Verification of Status of Recruitment Agencies and it will redirect you to another page where you can type the name of the agency.

The status of an agency may range from Valid License, Cancelled, Delisted, Denied Renewal, Forever Banned, Inactive. We advised all applicant to always check the status of the agency to be updated for latest POEA status of an agency. All of the search result made on the POEA website is valid only on the day that it was search. Because the status of the agency may change anytime.
