Watch | Father of Four Loses Wife over an OFW in Taiwan

Marjon and his wife were married for 16 years. They built and provided for their family together. They have four children. They were both working in the Philippines when his wife was given the opportunity to work as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Taiwan. Marjon allowed his wife to work abroad for their family’s future. During the start of their long distance relationship, he would regularly send texts and chats through social media.

As the month's pass, the wife, being so far away from her husband had gotten so lonely. During her loneliness, she met a guy in Taiwan who is also an OFW there. She was a victim of loneliness and love-at-a-wrong-time.

One time, she called her husband and asked him weird stuff that had given him a hint that she was betraying him. After their conversation, Marjon knew that she was having an affair.

He viewed the phone call as her way of separating from their relationship as husband and wife. After their separation, he looked for work to provide for his children’s needs. He is currently working as a construction worker.

What really broke Marjon’s heart was when she asked him if she and the guy (the guy whom she is having an affair with) could visit their children in their home. Marjon met the guy.

At first, Marjon had difficulty in enduring the pain after seeing his ex-wife in the arms of another man. But, Marjon, later on, said that he doesn’t want to think about his heartache anymore. All he wanted to focus now is his children’s wellbeing.  His only dream is for his children to finish their education and have a better life.

A father’s love is so strong that even at pain; he will still be working as if it were his last just so he can provide comfort to his family.
