OFW in Taiwan who once lived in a pig’s den builds her own House in the Philippines

An OFW in Taiwan shares her story of the truthfulness that poverty is an escapable state of living. Though born poor, Shekinah Jane believes that there are opportunities available that can help her change her state of lifestyle.

Her achievements in life through hard work, strong faith in God, unbreakable bond with her family, and dedication to improve her family’s state of living had been her inspiration in making her and her family’s dream a reality.





Shekinah and her family lived in a pig’s den in her grandfather’s small residential property before she was given the opportunity to work in Abroad.

It was her first time to work abroad. She had been working in Taiwan as an OFW for more than 4 years. She endured body aches from work due to working for 4 straight years without any day off and vacation, pain from missing her family in the Philippines, and the pain she felt missing her home country. She tolerated all the pain she had suffered because of her strong faith in God and her love for her family.

As of the moment, she had successfully built a home for her family in the Philippines. She is still working in Taiwan as an OFW. In two years she will be going back to the Philippines.

When she goes back to the Philippines, she will be welcomed by her loving family and she will be living with them in their new house.




She is proud to share her story to inspire her fellow Filipinos that strong faith in God, hard work, and solid love for family are effective motivations for achieving dreams.

Gusto ko lang po ishare ito di para mag yabang,,kundi nais ko makainspire sa lahat,,alam ko mag kakaiba tayo ng kalagayan.. nang umalis ako ng pinas sa kulungan lang ng baboy nila tatay kmi nakasibi mag iina,, at umalis ako na dun sila iniwan,sobrang sakit pro need ko lakasan at tibayan ang loob,,at ipinangako sa sarili ko panandalian lang kmi titira sa kulungan ng baboy at di ko yan ikinakahiya, bagkus naging motivation ko yan para lalo mag sikap at kayanin paglabanan ang lahat,,

di ganun kadali mag simula,,pro ang lahat idinulog ko sa Lord☝️,,kasabay ng aking pag sisikap, kasama syempre matinding pag titiis 4 yrs no day off ,no vacation,iyak lang sa Lord pag bigat na bigat kalooban,,,at awa ng Diyos sa loob ng 4yrs nag bunga ng magnda pag titiis at pag sasakripisyo,,,,kaya ito lng msabi ko wag po tayo mawalan ng pag asa,,laban lang💪laht ng pag titiis mag bubunga ng mganda,,

May 2 yrs pa ko dito nawa matapus ko bago umuwi,,laban sa hamon ng buhay!💪
