Israel Opens1,000 Jobs for Filipino Housekeepers

According to the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), there are a total of 1,000 job orders for hotel housekeeper positions in the country of Israel.

Based on the statement of the administrator of POEA, Bernardo Olalia, the application system to be implemented on the said job order will be on a government-to-government basis. This means that the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration will be the sole agency authorized by the two countries (Philippines and Israel) to accept registrations from interested applicants.

The application for the job opportunity in Israel does not require complicated processes and procedures. Applicants are not required to undergo language training sessions.

The successful applicants will be getting a monthly salary of 75,000 Php.

The applicant should be 25 years old or older. He or she should also possess an NC2 Certification in Housekeeping from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.

It is also a requirement that it should be the first time of the applicant to work in Israel. The applicant should also not have relatives residing in Israel.

In an interview with Olalia by DZMM, the deadline for the submission of requirements will be on the 8th of November, 2019.

The first deadline set by POEA was October 31 but it was later on extended to November 8 to give a chance to those who failed to submit the requirements before October 31.

Olalia also said that there is no need to visit the website of POEA in applying to the job order from Israel.

Olalia plans to deploy the first batch of accepted Filipino workforce to Israel before the end of 2019.
