OFW in Taiwan with Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease is asking for Prayers and Financial Assistance
Overseas Filipino Workers leave their home country to work in a foreign land. All in the hopes of finding a better means to provide for the daily needs of their families in the Philippines. They keep the sadness and loneliness to not sadden those who also miss them.
The immense distance that prohibits them from witnessing the growth of their children or siblings in the country is irreversible.
It is difficult for OFWs when they get sick in a foreign land where they only have themselves to take care of them. John Marvin Quiozon, 36 years old is an OFW working in Taiwan. He is employed by Hiwin Technology Corporation located in Yunlin, Taiwan.
Recently, Quiozon had been diagnosed with Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease. Weekly, he undergoes dialysis three times. His relatives will be traveling to Taiwan to be his kidney donors. Unfortunately, his relatives do not have health insurance in Taiwan and he and his family will need to shoulder all of the expenses for his transplant worth NT$300,000.
His families and friends are already exerting great efforts to raise funds for his transplant, treatment, and recovery. Some are selling shirts worth NT$300 and all of the proceeds will be given for his treatment. Some are also asking for donations that can be directly deposited to Quiozon’s bank account.
Please refer to the photos for the details of Quiozon’s bank account and other contact information. OFWs are the Philippines' modern-day heroes. Let us support one who currently needs a helping hand.
