Hsinchu Diocese cancels all Sunday Mass to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Hsinchu, Taiwan - The administration of Hsinchu Diocese has released an announcement on Thursday regarding the temporary cancellation of all Sunday Masses.


It has been posted on Facebook by Hsinchu Migrants and Immigrants Service Center.

According to them in order to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus, All public Sunday Masses in Hsinchu Dioses are all Suspended Indefinitely Starting on the evening of February 29, 2020.


The cancellation of Mass covers the following location.

-Hsinchu City
-Hsinchu County
-Taoyuan City
-Miaoli County

They also encourage the public to not attend any mass outside the Dioses to prevent any possibility of spreading the Virus.

For the meantime, they encourage everyone to pray, read the Bibble and do more Spiritual and Corporal acts of Mercy.
