MECO | NO SUSPENSION of Vacations for OFW's in TAIWAN

On February 07, 2020, MECO POLO TAICHUNG ensured that there is no ongoing Suspension on the Vacation of OFW's in Taiwan.

According to their Facebook post, The Manila Economic and Cultural Office and the Ministry of Labor in Taiwan have not yet announced any suspension regarding the vacation of OFW's in the country. So anyone who wishes to take or have a vacation in the Philippines can go.

They also advise the OFW's that if their vacations are not that important they just postponed it for the meantime to avoid being infected by the Virus.

They also added that there is a chance that returning OFW's in Taiwan could be Quarantined for 14 days by the Government if have a cough and fever upon their arrival in Taiwan. 

Furthermore, If anyone that would be quarantined it will definitely affect their employment here in Taiwan because they will be forced to take leave in their work.
