Watch | Taiwanese fishing vessel caught fire, 5 Filipino Seafarers still missing

Five Filipino seafarers went missing last Monday, February 11, 2019, after a Taiwanese Fishing Vessel caught fire on Falkland islands in the south of the Atlantic ocean.

DFA spoke person said on an interview that the Government "remains hopeful" that the 5 missing seafarers will still be found.

Meanwhile, the Phillippine Embassy is coordinating with the concerned authorities to gather more information regarding the incident.

According to the reports, the vessel is comprised of 22 Filipinos, 4 Taiwanese, 28 Indonesians, 1 Chinese, 9 Vietnamese and 5 Myanmarese.
