Pinoy Nurses and Caregivers Needed in Japan




Japan International Corporation of Welfare Services (JCWELS) is looking for applicants to fill up the vacant positions for fifty nurses or kangoshi and 300 caregivers or kaigofukushi. The job vacancies are for deployment in Japan under the Framework for the Movement of Natural Persons of the Philippines-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement or the PJEPA.

The applicants for the nursing position should be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The applicant should also have a PRC license and at least three years of work experience in a hospital.  The applicant should have motivation and commitment to work and study as a candidate for Kangoshi to get a National License in Japan.



The caregiver applicant should be a graduate of a four-year course and is certified as a caregiver provided by TESDA (NCII) or a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The applicant may be with or without a PRC License.

For the nursing applicant, he or she must bring a detailed resume with a piece of the latest 2x2 photo of himself or herself. The applicant should also submit the photocopies of his or her transcript of records, college diploma, updated PRC ID card, Updated Certificate of Employment, Japanese Learning Certificate (if available), valid Philippine passport, NBI Clearance (multi-purpose), PEOS Certificate, and a Worker’s Information Sheet or E-registration.

For the caregiving applicant, he or she must bring a detailed resume with a piece of the latest 2x2 photo of himself or herself. The applicant should also submit the photocopies of his or her transcript of records that are authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs (the authenticated copy may be sent later on while working in Japan), college diploma that is authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs (the authenticated copy may be sent later on while working in Japan), updated PRC ID card (if applicable), Updated Certificate of Employment (if applicable), Japanese Learning Certificate (if available), valid TESDA NCII Certificate in Caregiving (if the applicant is not a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Graduate)valid Philippine passport, NBI Clearance (multi-purpose), PEOS Certificate, and a Worker’s Information Sheet or E-registration.



All of the applicants are required to go under twelve months of intensive Japanese Language Training before being allowed to work. The training will consist of six months of intensive Preparatory Japanese Language Training in the Philippines (live-in) and six months of intensive Japanese Language Training in Japan (live-in).

The applicants with Japanese Language Proficiency Training Certificates (JLPT N4) will be exempted in the JLPT in the Philippines.

The applicants are expected to acquire Japanese Language Proficiency equivalent to JLPT N5 level after the completion of the Preparatory Japanese Language Training in the Philippines.

The applicants with Japanese Language Proficiency Training Certificate (JLPT N3 or JLPT N2) or for those who studied the Japanese Language in a Japanese Language Training Institution designated by the Ministry of Justice in Japan are exempted to take the JLPT in the Philippines and in Japan.




The qualified and interested applicant must submit in-person the required documents ( attached in a folder with a fastener with a label of RSF No. 19003, Name of the Applicant, Position Applying for, the country of destination, and the E-registration Number) to the Manpower Registry Division located at the Ground Floor of the Blas F. Ople Building (Formerly POEA Building), Ortigas Avenue corner EDSA, Mandaluyong City, Philippines.
