Tigerair Taiwan Will Offer Direct Flights from Taoyuan to Palawan
Tigerair is a budget-friendly airline and will be offering another direct flight from Taiwan to the Philippines. There are currently two direct flights from Taiwan to the Philippines. The first one is in Kalibo International Airport of the Boracay Island and the second one is in the International Airport of Mactan, Cebu.
The third direct flight from Taiwan to the Philippines will be from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to Puerto Princesa International Airport. This will start on June 7, 2019.
As stated by Tigerair, Palawan has the reputation of being the last island in the Philippines which is almost untouched by modernization. This part of the Philippines attracts a lot of visitors and scuba diving enthusiasts because of its diversified fauna and flora.
The easy access of tourists to the majestic Island of Palawan was the primary thought the airline had in the idea of the direct flight from Taiwan to Palawan.
It is provided by the airline that there would be three flights from Taoyuan for every week. The flight will leave at 1:15 in the afternoon every Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The return flights will depart from Puerto Princesa at 5:05 in the afternoon every Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
As a promotion of the launch of the third direct flight offer of the airline, the company will be offering a limited number of tickets which are discounted. The amount of these discounted tickets is NT$399 before tax.
Starting on Wednesday this week at 10:00 in the morning to 11:59 pm of Thursday this week, the discount tickets will be available for purchase. The travel dates of the discounted tickets are from June 7, 2019, to October 18, 2019.
