Pre-order of the Poke Ball EasyCard starts today July 3, 2019

Taipei’s EasyCard Corporation had joined the Pokemon Go craze as it partnered with Niantic, Inc. to offer to the residents of Taiwan a limited edition Pokeball-themed electronic stored-value cards starting July 3, 2019, Wednesday.

The Pokemon Trainers were excited to know that EasyCard released the first batch of Poke Ball EasyCards at 10 in the morning of July 3, 2019. The 3D Poke Balls will function as a standard EasyCard and it is made available with a very convenient strap. It will flash green after a successful transaction has been made by its owner.

The first batch of the Poke Balls will only be limited to three thousand pieces. It will be sold at a price of NT $350. Every person is only allowed to purchase a maximum of four Poke Balls. The first batch can be pre-ordered starting July 3, 2019, and it can be picked up by a customer on July 31.

Based on a statement released by the China Times, the second batch of preorders will be limited to 11,000 pieces only. The second batch can place their preorders starting from July 3, 2019, to July 17, 2019. The second batch of preorders can be received starting on September 25, 2019.

According to the EasyCard Corporation, preorders can be made in 7-Eleven convenience stores, FamilyMarts, and on the online shopping website PChome.

The EasyCard is an electronic smartcard system that is helpful in paying for the Taipei MRT (subway), buses, and other public transportation services in Taipei. The electronic smartcard system can also be used in purchases made at convenience stores, department stores, supermarkets, taxis, and other retailers.

In preordering the Poke Ball EasyCards in ibon kiosks in 7-Eleven, the following are the steps:
1. Select Shopping/Delivery.
2. Select Market Pre-order.
3. Select Catalogue-based Selection.
4. Select Electronic Ticket.
5. Select EasyCard.

For FamilyMart customers, they can use the pre-order option in its FamiPort kiosk.
In PCHome, pre-orders for the Poke Ball EasyCards can be made online through their 24-hour shopping website.
