Watch | Over 10 People Injured When Nanfangao Bridge In Yilan Collapsed

Yilan, Taiwan - This Morning around 09:30 a.m the Nanfangao Bridge in Yilan County Suddenly Collapsed injuring more than 10 people.

In a video, before the incident occurred a Truck was seen passing by the bridge and before it can almost successfully cross the bridge suddenly it collapsed.

A fishing vessel docked under the bridge was also crash in the said incident.

According to the authorities who were present on the scene 10 people have been successfully rescued while six of them have suffered serious injuries in their body and the remaining four was just minor injuries.

According to Mayor Lee Ming-che of Su'ao, they believe that there were at least 5 more fishermen who are still trapped under the bridge.

The construction of the Nanfangao bridge was completed in 1998 and span 140 meters in length.
