OFW from Saudi Stops Vices, Changed his Lifestyle, and Saves more than a Million Pesos in Three Years



In just a matter of three years, an Overseas Filipino Worker named Neil Ryan Lorenzo was able to save more than a million pesos from his salary.


He is an Overseas Filipino worker who is working in Saudi Arabia.

For him to attain his goal of saving more than a million pesos, he had given up many of the things that made him do unnecessary spending. Before, he always smoked cigarettes. Buying cigarettes in the past had taken a significant amount of money from his monthly earnings.



To change his life for the better and to attain better control of his financial well-being, he gradually stopped smoking cigarettes. He had also attempted to lessen the food that he eats to save more. He tried to limit his expenses of eating outside.


He admitted that in the past, he was addicted to online games. He did his best to end such an addiction to saving more money from his monthly earnings.

All of the money that he would’ve spent for all his vices were put in a coin bank. He was able to live up to his changed lifestyle. It changed his lifestyle for the better.

Currently, he is healthier than he was before after stopping from all his vices and now he is also a millionaire.
