Filipino who contracted COVID-19 went live on facebook to ask for Prayers

A Filipino who contracted the coronavirus went live on Facebook to ask for prayers and remind everyone to take extra care.

 According to him, he has been fighting the virus since last week and now asking for prayers not just for him but for his entire family.


In the video, it can be seen that he is already using oxygen to assist him to breathe. According to his Facebook profile is currently residing in New York.

Since the posting of the said video, it already gathered 25 thousand reactions,10 thousand comments, and 36 thousand shares.


According to the report of the Department of Foreign affairs as of March 26, 2020, there are 203 confirmed Overseas Filipinos who have contracted the COVID-19.

In the Asia Pacific region, there are 86 confirmed cases. The Middle East has 21 Filipinos who are positive for COVID 19, 36 in Europe and 14 in Amerika.
