Taiwan's Chipmaker TSMC confirms that its employee tested positive for Coronavirus Disease



March 18, Wednesday Taiwan's biggest semiconductor manufacturer TSMC had announced that one of its employees had been contracted the Coronavirus Disease.

Now the company has tightened its disease prevention efforts and assure the public that the companies operation would not be affected by the said disease.


According to them, every employee is now required to wear a face mask in the companies' common areas and when participating in meetings and Training.

TSMC had also mentioned that 30 of its people are now undergoing 14-day home quarantine those people are the who had close contact with their employee who tested positive for COVID-19.
