Bus and Railway commuters are now required to wear facemask
Starting April 1, 2020, all individuals in Taiwan who want to ride the train or bus will be required to wear a facemask that was according to Lin Chia-Lung Minister of Transportation.
This is the new measure taken by the Taiwan Government to stop the spread of Coronavirus in Taiwan and to be prepared for the surge of people during the tomb-sweeping Festival on April 2-5.
The checking of Body temperature will also be required to all 12 stations of High-Speed railway, 239 Taiwan Railway stations, 1,298 post offices, including ports, airports, freeway service areas, and Bus transport stations. the ministry added
Minister Lin also added that if an individual forehead reading from an infrared thermometer reaches 37.5c° or 38c° in an ear thermometer that individual will not be allowed to enter the place if their temperature doesn't subside.
