Additionally, he was reported to have been conversing with Barangay police officer Ernesto Millete when the senior citizen fainted.

Abillonar was first brought to the health center of the barangay before he was brought to the hospital. He died while on the way to the hospital.

Abillonar’s wife Leonida, stated that Abillonar was not suffering from any illness.

Leonida said that their child is stuck on Manila due to the enhanced community quarantine. Her husband was the only one at the home the moment the barangay announced for the release of relief goods. That is why he was the one who went out and falls in line for the relief goods.

According to a Barangay councilor, Lilia Azul, they do not allow senior citizens, pregnant women, ill people, and minors to go to the venue. She said that they went to every house in the barangay to give them a stub. She stressed that they did not invite everyone to go to the venue.
