Announcement | NT$ 1 Million fine for any one who will be caught carrying meat products into Taiwan



Taiwan - The Manila Economic and Cultural Office posted an announcement of their Facebook page on Friday, February 15, reminding all Filipino's who will be traveling to Taiwan to avoid carrying any kinds of products that are made of pork.

According to Meco, any individuals who will be caught carrying pork products into Taiwan will suffer a penalty as much as NT$ 1 Million. Failure to pay the Penalty will lead to automatic deportation back from the country of origin and will be ban from entering Taiwan. 



Meco would also like to remind those Filipinos who are already working here in Taiwan to avoid purchasing meat products from another country especially from those countries that are affected by African swine.
