Wow! Seven lucky winners of NT$10 Million each in Taiwan’s Invoice Lottery Program

Based on the list of the lucky winners in the Taiwan lottery issued by the Ministry of Finance on December 2, 2019, there were seven winners of the invoice lottery from September to October in Taiwan with a price of NT$10 million. Two of these seven were customers who purchased rice balls at different Taipei stores.

One of the winners had purchased a rice ball with a flavor of tuna for NT$27 in FamilyMart in the Shilin District. Another winner had paid NT$43 for a rice ball with pork floss and a cold beverage at a 7-eleven store in the Wanhua District.

The list issued by the Ministry of Finance did not contain the dates of when the purchases were made by the winners.

Each of the seven winners of the lottery event will be given a prize of NT$10 million. Eighteen people in the country had won a prize of NT$2 million.

Eleven of the eighteen winners had only spent an amount not exceeding NT$100 for their purchase.
The NT$10 million winners’ winning number for the September to October invoice lottery is 41482012 while the NT$2 million is 58837976.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the prizes can be claimed to start December 6 this year to March 5 of the following year.

The invoice lottery program of Taiwan releases its winning numbers every 2 months. This is the effort of the Ministry of Finance to entice consumers to collect their invoices to prevent businesses in the country to commit tax evasion.
