PH NEWS | DOH Suspects 24 Cases of the 2020 Coronavirus in the Philippines

There is no confirmed 2020 coronavirus is the Philippines as of the moment. However, there are already 24 suspected cases for the disease as of January 28, 2020, Tuesday.


Based on the statement released by the Department of Health, 18 of the suspected persons are already admitted in the different hospitals of Metro Manila.

Some of the suspected cases were in Mimaropa, Visayas, and Northern Mindanao.

The results from the tests made by the Victorian Infectious Disease and Reference Laboratory Research Institute for Tropical Medicine are still in process.

Aside from the 24 suspected cases, three were already released after their laboratory examinations revealed different illnesses. Their locations were kept confidential by the DOH.
